Chapter 1: The Classroom as Sanctuary
My classroom wasn’t just a place to learn—it was a place to grow.
Whether I was breaking down global trade strategies or explaining the psychology behind a sale, I made sure every student felt seen. I knew some came from broken homes, others from broken systems. But inside those walls, they were whole.
I kept the tone professional but personal. I shared stories from my own journey—failures, pivots, breakthroughs. I made space for questions that went beyond the syllabus: “How do I lead with integrity?” “What if I don’t know what I want yet?”
One student once said, “You made business feel human.” That was the goal.
Chapter 2: Lessons Beyond the Curriculum
I taught marketing principles, but I also taught how to market yourself—with honesty, humility, and grit.
I taught international business, but I emphasized that no matter the country, character travels farther than credentials.
I told stories about my parents—Nana and Papa Isernio—who modeled consistency, sacrifice, and love. I taught that success isn’t just profit margins. It’s how you treat people when no one’s watching.
